We are the Las Américas investment Fund.
The Las Américas investment Fund seeks to generate value through their investments in different companies, focusing on the real estate market and the infrastructure concession industry, among others. Over the last four years we have improved and seen growth in the management of many companies, delivering excellent profits to their shareholders, distributing US$ 4 thousand million in dividends and reaching US$ 120 million in infrastructure asset management. In this way we find business opportunities, evaluate them, negotiate and monitor their management, in order to generate medium- and long-term profitability. Our commitment is based on transparency and seriousness, with foreign investments in countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Colombia. In Chile our interest is focused on infrastructure such as hospitals, prisons and the Vespucio Oriente Highway. We belong to the Penta Company Group www.empresaspenta.clHistory
On November 12, 1992, Las Américas AFI S.A. placed their first investment fund in the public securities market, so beginning their operations. From that time they have stood out for successfully selecting and managing very interesting investment opportunities for the shareholders of their four funds: Las Américas Raíces Real Estate Investment Fund, Las Américas Foundation Real Estate Investment Fund, Las Américas Emerging Company Development Fund and Las Américas Infrastructure Investment Fund, which represent assets managed for US$ 129 million, with a 5.3% participation of the investment fund industry and 19.3% from the real estate fund segment. Their investments are varied in terms of economic activity, products, places, sizes and approach, whether they are direct or with high-prestige actors with whom they adopt rigorously created association strategies, in which investor interest is ensured, both in the controlled and minority position.
They also are focused on the international market, with effective concession programs in Peru, important investment opportunities in Brazil, a solid base in Bolivia with the Eastern Railway company and expectations to enter Colombia and Mexico through their airports.
